Crab spider on a yellow rose
Araignée crabe sur une rose jaune
While taking a photo of a yellow rose, I spotted a small white spider and its kill on the rim of a petal. This crab spider, slightly yellow to blend with its host flower, has ambushed a fly and is sucking its juices dry.
En prenant une photo d’une rose jaune, j’ai remarqué une petite araignée blanche et sa proie sur le bord d’un pétale. Cette araignée crabe, jaunâtre pour se fondre dans sa fleur hôte, a surpris une mouche et suce ses fluides.
